The fleet gets a window of its own
JackHamr as a native app for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Its own window, notifications that behave, one window per organization, automatic updates.
You run a fleet all day, in the background, next to everything else. A browser tab is the wrong home for that. It hides behind twelve others, its notifications arrive when the browser feels like it, and it cannot be its own window on its own screen. JackHamr now lives in your dock.
What you get

Download it at jackhamr.ai/download. macOS, Windows, and Linux, all first-class.
- Sign in through your system browser with a one-time code exchange, so your password never touches the app
- A finished turn or a question card notifies you even when the app is behind another window
- File and New Window keeps one window per organization, for people who run more than one
- Deep links from Slack or email open the right session and survive the login step
- The same workspace: chat, browser, terminal, editor, boards
Auto-updates
The first builds went out on September 2 and we iterated quickly on feedback. Version 1.0.8 on September 4 turned on automatic updates on every platform. Install that one by hand and you never download it again.
Why a desktop app for a cloud product
Because directing a fleet is something you do all day, in the background, alongside everything else. It deserves a place in your dock, a window you can put where you want, and notifications that behave like every other app's. The heavy lifting stays in the cloud. The control surface comes home.
